The Ethicon VR835 VICRYL RAPIDE™ Suture is a synthetic absorbable braided suture designed for rapid wound support in soft tissue approximation where only short-term tensile strength is required. This sterile suture features a PC-1 cutting needle and an 18-inch undyed braided strand, providing excellent handling, secure knot tying, and smooth tissue passage.

VICRYL RAPIDE™ sutures are manufactured from irradiated polyglactin 910, allowing for accelerated absorption compared to standard VICRYL® sutures. They are commonly selected for superficial soft tissue closure and skin closure where suture removal is not desired.
